Thanh Binh Hotels Grow Strongly

 

With the advantage of owning four hotels right in the district’s centre and nearby Tan Son Nhat airport, plus with long experience in the tourism sector, the Thanhbinh Tourist JSC has been improving its capacity in both quality and quantity. Since its first days of establishment with only 42 rooms and one restaurant, Thanhbinh Tourist has now established the first chain of three-star hotels in Tan Binh district.

 

The Thanh Binh hotels are impressive to tourists, with over 300 bedrooms designed sensibly in accordance with oriental architecture and decorated with all modern conveniences. The Thanh Binh hotels include conference halls with the capacity of more than 300 seats and restaurants to serve package holidays.

After privatisation in 2007, especially after becoming a member of the Saigontourist and Saigon Thuong Tin Investment Joint Stock Company (STI) under Sacombank, the Thanhbinh Tourist has reached many new achievements. By the end of 2010, the Thanhbinh Tourist’s charter capital increased to VND90 billion from VND16 billion. The company was granted the title of excellent labour unit for three consecutive years by Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee. It was also appreciated by the Saigontourist and the city’s department of tourism for the good growth of room prices and revenue relating to trading hotels and restaurants. The Thanhbinh Tourist was named among the top 500 enterprises with the highest growth in Vietnam, selected by the newswire VietnamNet, and one of the 17 biggest firms in Tan Binh District. In an interview with Vietnam Business Forum, Ms Le Thi Thanh Truc, Vice Director of Thanhbinh Tourist, said the success is attributed to the company leadership’s clear-headed management, particularly in outlining the business strategy, along with capability and efforts of the staff team to bring in various and qualified products and services to customers. All the efforts and contribution have created a new face for Thanhbinh Tourist today.           

Thanks to continuous efforts, the Thanh Binh 2 Hotel was recognized by the National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) as international three-star standard last year. In the upcoming time, the company targets to have all its hotels recognized as international three-star standard, bringing the Thanhbinh brand to a new height. The Thanh Binh 4 hotel is now underway, completely under the new standard, with restaurants serving Asian and European dishes, bars, massage services, underground car park and 60 VIP rooms. The Thanh Binh 4 Hotel is called Bel Ami.
