International Furniture Exhibition in Singapore

An international furniture exhibition and fair will be held in the Singapore exhibition centre on March 1-5, 2005, by the Singapore Furniture Industries Council. The exhibition and fair will exhibit two major products, including interior products, such as indoor and outdoor chairs and tables, cabinets, beds, and furniture items for kitchens and offices, and home accessories, such as carpets, curtains, handicrafts, paintings, machinery and equipment. The cost for each display pavilion is put at between US$179 to US$185 per square metre. The organisers will give a 20 per cent discount for pavilions if a 30 per cent deposit is made before September 1, 2004 and 10 per cent more for furniture and home accessories display areas. The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) said that a delegation of Vietnamese businessmen would visit and participate in the event.
