Seminar on Export to Islamic Markets

 The two seminars themed “Halal Certification-Export Opportunities and Approaches for Vietnamese Entrepreneurs” are successively organised by Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade on 31^st May in Intercontinental Hotel, Hanoi, and on 8^th June 2011 in VCCI-HCM Building, Ho Chi Minh City.

 

The seminars are in the framework of the EC-funded MUTRAP III Project, aimed to provide Vietnamese enterprises with knowledge of and information on Halal requirements and Halal certification as a key to accessing Islamic markets.

 

The events also serve as a launching pad for the “Halal foods business matching program in Indonesia and Malaysia” to be held later on by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the framework of the national trade promotion program 2011.This is a good opportunity for export enterprises to learn new knowledge, share experience and seek chances to expand into these typical markets. Present at the events are representatives from related government agencies and associations.
