Hong Trung Construction Enterprise: Meeting High Demand for Construction

With the activities of building civil and industrial works and leveling ground and construction sites, Hong Trung Construction Enterprise has been considered one of pioneers in Hau Giang province's construction sector.

The enterprise has partly contributed to the development and of the newly-established Hau Giang province that is located in the centre for trade exchanges of provinces in the west of the Hau River. The demand for construction works in the province is now very high, particularly in Vi Thanh Town, which is regarded as the political, cultural and socioeconomic center of Hau Giang, the home to key production industries, and waterway and road transport conjunction of the Hau River's western region. In addition, the province is focusing on building important complexes of construction works, administrative centres, trade centers and sport and culture centres.

With the initial capital of VND2.3 billion (US$147,435), the Hong Trung Construction Enterprise has increased its capital to VND6.47 billion (US$414,743) at present, equipped with more modern, specific machinery, and always applied advanced technologies in building works, therefore, construction projects in Hau Giang undertaken by the enterprise has been appreciated by contractors. Notably, the early implementation of public inspection in managing and supervising the quality of construction works, and strict inspections of working conditions and management capacity for construction projects are clear evidences for the strong capacity of Hong Trung in the construction sector.

The enterprise has closely cooperated with the province's departments and authorities to engage in and win bidding packages for projects to build residential areas for resettlement, tenements for cadres and local people, and transport and water drainage projects to help the province further boost its urbanisation.
