Maritime Bank Awarded Labour Order Grade III
On July 10, Maritime Bank held a solemn ceremony at Melia Hotel, Hanoi to celebrate its 20th founding anniversary and receive Labour Order Grade III by the State President in recognition of its achievements and contributions to the financial and banking sector.
After 20 years of construction and development, Maritime Bank has increased its registered capital by more than 125 times; its branch network by more than 54 times, and its workforce by 200 times. Currently, the bank’s charter capital is VND5,000 billion and its total assets valued at VND129,000 billion.
The Hanoi-based lender has received a lot of certificates of merits for fulfilling financial obligations to the State, financing community development activities like “Bright Tomorrow” programme, heart surgery and disease treatment for poor children, aiding flood victims, etc.
To recognition of business achievements and contributions to charity acts, Maritime Bank was awarded Labour Order Grade III by the State President and the Flag of Emulation by the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV). Mr Tran Anh Tuan, Director General of Maritime Bank, was presented the Certificate of Merits by the SBV for his outstanding achievements in business administration.
