Thai Binh Pharmaceutical and Medical Material Joint Stock Company was formed in February 1997 with the merger of Thai Binh Medical Material Company and Thai Binh Pharmaceutical Enterprise. In October 2001, the People's Committee of Thai Binh province issued Decision 1342/QD-UB on the transformation of the company into a joint stock business. After 10 years of development, the company has become an exemplary pharmaceutical manufacturer and trader in Thai Binh province.
When it was transformed into a joint stock company, it faced numerous difficulties and challenges in infrastructure, human resources, capital and others. However, with dogged determination, relentless efforts and full consensus of all members, the company has gradually entered stable operation. To date, in addition to a stable business and improving operating capacity, the company has built a strong force of qualified and dedicated staff, with nearly 20 percent holding university-level degrees. This is a crucial foundation for the future development of the company.

After 10 years of development, Thai Binh Pharmaceutical and Medical Material Joint Stock Company has made fundamental changes: production and business activities are intensively invested, and employees are rejuvenated and professionally trained. A strong organisational system, modern facilities and advanced techniques have enabled the company to play a leading role in the medicine market in Thai Binh province and expand its business presence in other localities in the country and the world. In 2010, it made VND35 billion revenue and employed over 400 workers. Its medicine distribution to agents is guaranteed and maintained.

With its assertive steps and bold investments for technology, import and export of raw materials, and qualified professional workforce, Thai Binh Pharmaceutical and Medical Material Joint Stock Company has gradually confirmed its role and position on the pharmaceutical trading and manufacturing market. It is also an active element in the social and economic development of Thai Binh province.
