US Architect to Design Vietnam Oil and Gas Tower in Hanoi
Petro Vietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation and the US-based Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects Company signed a US$30 million design contract for the Vietnam Oil and Gas Tower in Hanoi.
The 79-storey project, located on 6.5 hectares in a 25-hectare complex in Me Tri commune, Tu Liem district, will have first-class offices and apartments, a five-star hotel and a shopping centre alongside a museum, and an information centre of the oil and gas industry.
The US architecture company will have six months to January 2012 to plan investment and four months to May 2012. Construction is expected to commence at the end of the first quarter of 2012.
