Named a top 5-star hotel in Vietnam by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT), the 175-room MajesticHotel is an ideal world-class destination for tourists when they come to Ho Chi Minh City. Situated in the heart of the city and overlooking the Saigon River, the hotel is only a short walk from tourist attractions and bustling shopping centres.
Built in 1925 in one of the finest locations in Saigon, Majestic Hotel is one of the oldest hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. Although it was remodelled many times, it still keeps the old charm, the elegance of columned and arched classical French colonial architecture. Located by the bank of Saigon River and on Dong Khoi Street, the Silk Road of Saigon, Majestic Hotel and Sofitel Metropole Hanoi are only two hotels in Vietnam named the "Legend of Indochina."

After nearly a century of development, Majestic Hotel has continually invested to upgrade its facilities and enhance service quality and service manners to attract more guests. The hotel initially had only three floors with 44 rooms, but it now has 175 French style luxury rooms featuring high arches, wooden floors, Jacob Delafon tubs and showers, and marble walls. Well-furnished, elegantly designed and spacious rooms offer gently relaxing moments in a home-like cosy atmosphere. The hotel also has six restaurants and bars in combination with other entertaining services. In 2007, Majestic Hotel was rated a 5-star hotel by the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism (VNAT) and has been voted the Top 5-star Hotel in Vietnam for many years.

In addition to perfect amenities and service quality, the strong force of professional, considerate and wholehearted staff is also the pride of Majestic Hotel. Staying at the hotel, you will enjoy a friendly atmosphere and the professional service of experienced, wholehearted staff.

This honourable award is a strong sentimental boost for all staff to endeavour more for the long-term sustainable development of Majestic Hotel.

To lay a new stepping stone for the five-year development strategy (2011 - 2015), on July 6, 2011, Majestic Hotel broke ground to expand the current hotel.
