Mekong Delta Exhibition to Open Next April
The southern city of Can Tho will host an exhibition on 10-year development achievements of the Mekong Delta Region in April, 2012.
The Northwest Region Steering Board was assigned to work with Can Tho City, relevant agencies and localities to prepare for the exhibition.
The Mekong Delta Region has gained an average growth rate of 11.7% over the last decade.
The region exported 6 million tons of rice each year, pocketing over US $3 billion in revenue which accounts for 90% of the country’s rice export value.
