Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai recently agreed in principle the main content of the Vietnam Common Country Program Document (CCPD) for 2012-2016 with UN organizations.

The CCPD was made between the Vietnamese Government and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).
The Ministry of Planning and Investment is in charge of working with relevant agencies to collaborate with the three UN organizations to finalize the CCPD and submit outcomes to the Prime Minister for approval.

This is the first time that UNDP, UNFPA and UNICEF have worked together in building a common document for cooperation with Vietnam which is considered a milestone in the UN’s renewal process in the host country.

CCPD is based on the draft plan about the One UN for the 2012- 2016 period, covering areas prioritized by the UN agencies in Vietnam and within the framework of the Delivering As One (DaO).
