Vietnam’s Export Value Reaches US$78 Billion

Exports were estimated to hit US$ 78 billion in the first ten months of this year, a year-on-year rise of 23%, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. 
 
The ten-month figure was said to be significantly backed by October’s export value, which was estimated to reach US$8.3 billion.
 
Imports in the reviewed period were estimated to be worth US$86.42 billion, which included an estimate US$9.1 billion attained in October, the Vietnam Customs reported.
 
Trade deficit was US$800 million in October, bringing the figure in the first 10 months to US$8.39 billion.
