VIB Launches Foreign Direct Investment Banking Services

On November 11, 2011, Vietnam International Bank (VIB) officially launched its foreign direct investment banking (FDI). VIB is one of the first commercial joint stock banks to offer package banking products and services for FDI enterprises in Vietnam.

With the vision “to be the most innovative and customer-centric bank in Vietnam”, VIB have realized that FDI is one of the most important sectors of the economy. Therefore, VIB’s leaders have actively built a specialized segment of service for these customers. Along with Commonwealth Bank of Australia’s (CBA) participation as a strategic shareholder, VIB has been making rapid progress, which is partly reflected through the official launch of FDI Banking.

At the launching ceremony of FDI Banking in Ho Chi Minh City, VIB signed cooperation agreements with Fubon Vietnam Non-life Insurance Company and Lotte Coralis Vietnam Co.,Ltd to provide the two companies with full financial packages.
