Boosting Effect and Quality of Banking Services

The Vietnam Banking Conference & Expo 2012 themed “Technology Transformation towards Effective Banking Governance and High Quality Services for Banking Sector” is scheduled to open at Grand Plaza Hotel, Hanoi from May 22 to 24, 2012. This event is expected to step up the process of modernising the Vietnamese banking system and introduce advanced technologies for the Vietnamese banking system.

 

The Banking Vietnam 2012 will focus on strategic planning for banking industry up to 2015; new trends for banking technology; obtaining effectiveness in banking technology application; non-cash payment; bank governance and risk management; service channels; applications and security solutions to build higher banking services. 

 

Deputy State Bank of Vietnam Governor Nguyen Toan Thang will chair a specialised roundtable conference on boosting IT support in banking restructuring and accelerating non-cash payment from now to 2015.

 

The event is jointly organised by the Information Technology Department of the Bank under the State Bank of Vietnam and the International Data Group (IDG Vietnam).
