Mr La Quoc Khanh, Deputy Director of the department, said: This centre will be administered by the HCM City Tourism Association. In addition to mainstream MICE tourism, the centre will advertise other tourism activities in the city. Beneficiaries will contribute to the operations of the centre. Authorities will actively support MICE development.

The department completed MICE tourism research and development project, which covers a series of MICE tourism developments like website launch, publication, exhibition as well as infrastructure and human resource solutions. The city’s tourism industry is expected to welcome 988,000 visiting businesspeople in 2015.
