VCCI to Open Course on Tapping Russian Market
On April 17, 2012 in Hanoi, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) in collaboration with the Hanoi-based University of Foreign Trade (FTU) will organise a training programme entitled “Tapping trade map of International Trade Centre to approach Russian market and beyond". This aims to support the Vietnamese business community in general and members of Vietnam - Russia Business Council in particular in the context of domestic and global economic difficulties. Dr Dao Ngoc Tien of the International Trade Centre (ITC), FTU will lecture the course.
The course will guide attendants to use the ITC trade map - a huge online database source constantly updated with national statistics - to assess and analyse the commercial potential of the Russian market and others; and seek out suitable goods and partners as well as relevant information on tax, customs, trade barriers and competitors to boost effective export, import and investment. This instrument will help businesses save time and cost in market research and business strategy building. Trainees will practice directly on internet-enabled computers and join group discussions.
This course is free for VCCI members.
