11 Countries Allowed to Export Vegetables, Fruits to Vietnam

The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development said 11 countries are allowed to export vegetation-origin products to Vietnam, including the United States, France, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Thailand, South Korea, Chile, Cambodia, South Africa, and India. Neigbouring China and Laos are being temporarily recognised, with validity lasting through December 31, 2012.

 

According to the ministry, these nations are required to register before shipping products to Vietnam and apply three-step control process: Before export, at the border, and after export to Vietnam.
