More 23 Vietnam Seafood Companies Allowed to Export to EU

TheEuropean Directorate General for Health and Consumers officially recognised additional 23 Vietnam seafood companies to export their products to the European Union. The EU’s decision raised the total number of Vietnamese seafood companies permitted to export to this market to 415.

 

According to the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP), the European market is the second largest market for Vietnamese seafood. However, the shipment to this market slumped 10 - 12 per cent this year due to economic crisis.
