Tra Fish Continues to Be Imposed High Tax Rates

The US Department of Commerce (DOC) has announced the final adjustment results of the eighth administrative review (POR8) on Vietnam’s frozen tra fish (pangasius) fillets exported to the US market. Vietnamese products continue to be imposed high tariffs.
 
According to these adjustments, VietAn Joint Stock Company (Anvifish) has its products imposed a tax of US$2.39 per kilogram, the highest rate among taxed companies and higher than the average of US$2.11 on Vietnam’s tra fish. The tariff rates on other companies also increase from US$1.29 from US$0.77 previously.
