Design Capacity Building for Vietnamese Businesses

The Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) under the Ministry of Industry and Trade is cooperating with the Korea Design Promotion Agency to organise the “Design capacity building for Vietnamese businesses” programme in Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa province on June 28, 2013. This is part of the Vietnam - South Korea Design Capacity Building Project.

The programme consists of two main contents: "Design and brand name" workshop and “industrial design” training course. The workshop will provide information, share knowledge and experience in design, branding and reality of Vietnamese industrial design sector and South Korean industrial design policies. In the Q&A session, experts will discuss, advise and answer questions about design.

In addition, the training course will include design exercises and group presentations which will help trainees to approach reality, brainstorm and build design development strategies for businesses. When the course wraps up, trainees will be granted certifications by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency (Vietrade) and the Korea Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP).
