TPP: Exported Garments and Textiles Expected to Enjoy Zero Tax
The 15th round of Trans-Pacific Strategic Economic Partnership (TPP) negotiations is in the final stage. Vietnamese garment and textile exporters expect to have their products imposed zero tax in TPP signatories.
For example, the US market currently has approximately 1,000 tariff lines with tax rate of from 17-20 percent but they will be slashed to zero when TPP takes effect.
