Business Start-up and Creative Innovation Contest Finals

The final of Business Start-up and Creative Innovation Contest took place at the Meeting Hall of the Ho Chi Minh City Branch of the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI - HCM), organised by VCCI - HCM in cooperation with Vietnam Germany University and the University of Leipzig ​​. The contest is part of Praxispartnership project financed by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

 

In his opening speech, VCCI - HCM Director Vo Tan Thanh said the contest aims to help young entrepreneurs and students from universities and colleges in Ho Chi Minh City and neighbouring provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Lam Dong and Long An to study and practice to develop their business ideas and projects. Specially, the contest will also provide an opportunity for the construction and development of business start-up ideas to generate good products, services and new business models for the society. He emphasised that "We strongly believe in creativity and shrewd business thinking of Vietnamese young entrepreneurs. Therefore, we organise this contest on hopes that it will become a useful, practical playground and create a business start-up and innovation campaign every year for the young."

 

The contest is designed for young businesspeople aged from 21 to 35.
