4 Mega Events to Revolutionize the Future New Experiences!

The four Mega events of “Business Alliance for Supporting in Ho Chi Minh City”, “METALEX Vietnam 2013”, “NEPCON Vietnam 2013”, and “INDEE Vietnam 2013” are officially taking place during October 10-12 at Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City.
 
The shows are expected to draw over 10,000 visitors to the exhibitions.
 
Mr. Hirokata Yasuzumi, Managing Director of JETRO Ho Chi Minh Citysaid that the fast growing economy of Vietnam is a magnet for investors in the ASEAN region. Vietnam has developed metalworking and other industries for a long time which can attract investors and manufacturers from around the world. “As we are the organization that supports Japanese manufacturers, we, this year, organize the “Business Alliance for Supporting Industry in Ho Chi Minh city” which is co-located with “METALEX Vietnam”. Therefore, this is the most suitable platform for business negotiation and expanding networks as well as enhancing business opportunities between Japanese and Vietnamese manufacturers. And this will further increase and strengthen Vietnam’s supporting industries as a whole.”
 
Mrs. Pho Nam Phuong,Directorof Investment & Trade Promotion Center(ITPC) said that these days, science and technology including active research and development has led to the development of many new materials. METALEX Vietnam 2013 is one of the most important and effective metalworking exhibitions in ASEAN, which enables manufacturers throughout the world especially in ASEAN and Asia Pacific region to see new developments and create business contacts. Moreover, by co-locating with METALEX Vietnam, the “Business Alliance For Supporting Industry in Ho Chi Minh”, organized by Investment & Trade Promotion Centre and JETRO Ho Chi Minh City, will offer an effective stage for Japanese and Vietnamese manufacturers to learn from each other to further enhance supporting industries in Vietnam.
 
Mr. Anupan Shah, Chairman, EEPC India said that India and Vietnam’s Cultural and economic links date back to the second century. The relationship between the two countries is based on mutual trust and convergence of interest. The year 2012 marked the 40th anniversary of establishment of full diplomatic relations between the two countries, and also the 5th anniversary of the strategic partnership between India and Vietnam. “We are happy to co-locate the show with METALEX Vietnam, which is one of the foremost platforms in the region to exhibit one’s engineering prowess.  EEPC India – one of the oldest and largest trade promotion Organizations of India – is proud to present the 27th Indian Engineering Exhibition (INDEE) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.”
 
Mr. Pham Ngoc Thang, Vice President – General Secretary, Vietnam Automation Association said that   “Nowadays, the manufacturing sector needs to upgrade their production line. METALEX Vietnam 2013 is a good platform for both Vietnamese and regional manufacturers and technology providers to exchange knowledge and acquire the right machinery as well as technologies to enhance the production efficiency.”
 
Mr. Hoang Thai An, President of The Vietnam Electro – Technical Industry Association said that METALEX and NEPCON Vietnam 2013 are important platforms for international players to build strategic networks as well as update new technology. Currently, the technologies involved in the automotive and industrial parts keep evolving and changing, the Vietnamese manufacturers need to keep themselves updated at all times and also look out for new technologies and knowledge in order to remain competitive.
 
Mr. Duangdej Yuaikwarmdee, Deputy Managing Director of Reed Tradex said that The ASEAN Economic Community, which is expected to come into effect in 2015, will open new markets and channels of distribution, and create more opportunities for intra-Asean sourcing of goods and raw materials. Therefore, if Viet Nam is not ready now to boost development of its supporting industry, the country will lose its competitive advantage. To stay competitive, local companies must also invest in modern technology.

Engineering master classes will be held where "gurus" will teach local firms some new things and give tips on enhancing product quality and also the competition to seek the Best of the Best @ The 2nd Hand Soldering Championship. Moreover, after the first successful edition in 2012, IPC (Association Connecting Electronics Industries) and Reed Tradex will again bring the ‘Hand Soldering Championship’ to the exhibitions.
