On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnam - Japan diplomatic relations, a delegation of over 50 Japanese businesses, led by Mr Kohei Watanabe, Chairman of the Japan - Mekong Business Committee, will visit Vietnam to explore the market, seek partners and search for investment cooperation opportunities. Visiting companies are reportedly engaged in general trade, machine and component production, iron and steel, beverage, aerospace, hardware, IT solutions, chemical, law, consulting, education and cosmetics.

The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will cooperate with the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) to organise the Vietnam - Japan business meeting in Hanoi on October 29, 2013. This meeting is a good opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to meet directly with Japanese companies, exchange information and seek potential partners in these areas.
