Mobile Games 2004 Ends
The Mobile Technology Co. (FPT Mobile), the Youth newspaper, PC World Magazine, Java Vietnam and Samsung Vina organised the final round of the Mobile Games 2004 on November 5 in Ho Chi Minh City.
The first prize of a Samsung E700 cell phone and VND15 million was presented to Nguyen Gia Cuong for a game called Mainland. The game contest also offered two second prizes (a Samsung S200 cell phone and VND10 million each), three third prizes (a Samsung C100 cell phone and VND5 million each) and four runner up prizes. In addition, the Saigon Aptech presented six other prizes worth a US$250 scholarship each to the youngest game designers and to others who had the most-wanted games, games with the smallest sizes, and various other categories.
Mobile Games 2004 attracted nearly 90 groups of participants with 94 products. The competition is to be held on an annual basis.
