Intensifying Introduction for Goods Made by Vietnamese and Qinghai (China) Businesses

A Chinese business delegation led by Mr Luo Huining, Secretary of the Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China of Qinghai Province, will pay a working visit to Vietnam to promote friendship ties and economic and commercial exchange between China’s Qinghai Province with Vietnam’s provinces and cities. On this occasion, the People's Government of Qinghai Province will organise a “Vietnam - China (Qinghai) Goods Exhibition" in Hanoi from October 28 to 31, 2013, with the participation of many Qinghai brand names specialised in winter fungus (ophiocordyceps sinensis), pharmaceuticals, textile, foods and drinks, and handicrafts.

 

During the exhibition, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will collaborate with the Qinghai Provincial Department of Commerce to host a seminar entitled "Vietnam - China Trade and Tourism Promotion" to help enterprises of both sides to meet and exchange cooperation opportunities.

 

In addition, to raise mutual understanding, the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province will coordinate with VCCI to organise a Qinghai Province Introduction Event for Vietnamese businesses in order to increase cooperation opportunities. Ms Wang Jingping, Deputy Director of the Department of Commerce of Qinghai Province, hoped VCCI would lead a business delegation to Qinghai Province to survey and enhance trade ties between the two sides.

 

Earlier, in late September, at the VCCI head office, VCCI Vice President Pham Gia Tuc hosted a meeting with Ms Wang Jingping. At the meeting, Ms Wang said that cooperation potential for the two sides is huge. The cooperation is not only beneficial for domestic product consumption, but also boosts exports to each other.
