Export Duty on Synthetic Rubber Slashed to 1 Pct

The Ministry of Finance has issued Circular 157/2010/TT-BTC revising export tax rates on rubber products coded 40.01, 40.02 and 40.05 detailed at the Export Tariff appended the Circular No. 193/2012/TT-BTC dated November 15, 2012.

 

Accordingly, natural latex, either vulcanised or pre-vulcanised; crepe rubber; compounded un-cured rubber in natural, plate, sheet or strip forms (coded 4001.10, 4001.29.20, 4005) are subject to 1 percent export tariff, down from 3 percent earlier. In addition, the export tax on synthetic rubber (coded 4002) is reduced from 5 percent to 1 percent.
