The Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) has started construction of a bonded gold warehouse in Hanoi-based Noi Bai International Airport to meet local demand for the precious metal.
The warehouse is the first of its kind to be built in Vietnam under a plan to develop a gold bonded warehouse system in the country, which was recently approved by the government. The work is expected to be completed within 12 months.
