Enterprises Helped to Access European Market

The Southern Foreign Investment Centre (SFIC), the Mid-Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the UK, and EuroCham Vietnam, have co-operated to implement a programme on capability building for Vietnamese enterprises, helping them co-operate with and access the European market.

This programme comes within the Asia Invest project, the first phase being implemented until October, 2005. Accordingly, enterprises in three fields, including the processing, textile and garment and footwear industries in the south will receive support via training in business promotion, learning how to access the European market, and in particular the British market. The phase will cost EUR 240,000 funded by the European Commission.
