Vietnam, South Korea Promote Cooperation in Design Business
The Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Korean Institute of Design Promotion (KIDP) under the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy led a visit to the Vietnam - South Korea Design Space” at the 23rd Vietnam International Trade Fair (Vietnam Expo 2014) in Hanoi from April 16 to 19, 2014.
This activity is in the framework of the "Vietnam - South Korea design capacity building” project with the aim of honouring companies with design development, product development and branding, creating opportunities of design exchange and cooperation for companies in Vietnam, South Korea and other countries.
The space displays beautiful and unique designs of South Korean companies like Rinnai smart sensor cooker made by Atto Design Company, Roast Boy automatic coffee roaster, and telephone accessories and casings for mobile phones, cards and headsets made by Sumneeds Company, Kaiserin handmade fashions made by Harriet Kim Company, and household boxes like meat boxes and wine shelves made by Manifesto Design Lab Company.
Meanwhile, the space was also joined by Vietnamese enterprises deeply interested in design development, product model and product competitiveness enhancement.
In addition, during the expo, the space provided free consultancy on design from South Korean designers.
