Vietnam, South Korea Strengthen Business Cooperation

In the cooperation framework in 2014, the ASEAN - South Korea Centre will coordinate with relevant agencies in Vietnam to organise a investment and trade promotion delegation to South Korea, including the attendance to the Conference on “South Korea and Vietnam - Promoting investment and cooperation in food processing” and business matching event with South Korean firms in Seoul from June 24 to 28, 2014.

 

The programme aims to introduce the investment environment and new investment policies and regulations of Vietnam to South Korean businesses and investors; introduce food products and food industries to Korean investors; attract South Korean investors to invest in Vietnam; and create opportunities for Vietnamese and South Korean businesses to meet and exchange investment and trade cooperation opportunities for both sides.

 

Prioritised fields are agricultural products, seafood, processed food, food processing machines and equipment, and beverages.
