VietJet Celebrates Mid-Autumn Festival on Board!
On the occasion of Tet Trung Thu (Vietnam’s Mid-Autumn Festival), VietJet presented 10,000 colorful, animal-shaped lanterns to all child passengers flying with Vietnam’s fastest growing airline on September 8, 2014.
Air stewards from the new-age airline, which is well known for its fun and friendly in-flight activities, also kept its youngest passengers on board entertained for this special holiday, which is often referred to as a children’s festival.
“Lanterns are the symbol of this joyful, traditional celebration, which reminds us to cherish the time we get to spend with our kids,” said Mr. Desmond Lin – Business Development Director of VietJet. “For older passengers the lanterns will also remind them of their own childhoods, so the festival is both a nostalgic and a happy occasion. It is truly an honor for VietJet to celebrate this special day on board with all of our customers, regardless of age and nationality, and we wish everyone a happy Tet Trung Thu!”
Since its inception in late 2011, VietJet has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most dynamic and innovative airlines in Asia with a fleet of brand new Airbus aircraft operating a network of 27 domestic and international routes.
Besides the airline’s incredible regular “mega-promotions” and exciting in-flight activities, VietJet has also pioneered a number of state-of-the-art services in Vietnam such as self-check in kiosks so passengers can enjoy a fast and convenient check-in experience.
The airline is also well known for its family-oriented customer service policy. At all airports, VietJet staff members are on hand to ably assist elderly passengers, parents travelling with infants or disabled persons to check-in quickly and ensure they board the plane comfortably and “Enjoy Flying” with VietJet.
