Danish Minister of Education Visits Vietnam
The Danish Minister of Education Ms Christine Antorini visited Vietnam from March 4th to 6th 2015. The Minister had an exciting and fruitful first day in Vietnam.
Among the highlights was opening of seminar, a visit to a high school and political meetings, including a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Vu Duc Dam.
Ms Christine Antorini participated in a seminar co-hosted by the Embassy of Denmark in Vietnam and the Ministry of Education and Training to facilitate concrete partnerships and cooperation between Vietnamese and Danish educational institutions.
The Minister is accompanied by a delegation of representatives from around 20 different Danish educational institutions to further enhance concrete partnerships.
“Danish educational institutions have a strong tradition and position providing education and learning of unique international standards. There is a good match between the current challenges and needs here in Vietnam and the unique Danish strongholds on vocational educational training, upper secondary business colleges, technical colleges and other areas.” said Ms Christine Antorini in her opening speech.
Ms Christine Antorini also visited Dinh Tien Hoang High School. The Minister met the school management, the teachers and the students. After the Minister’s speech the students gave a very fine performance and presented a school medal to the Minister.
Finally Ms Christine Antorini had several political meetings, including a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Vu Duc Dam.
