Fischer Asia: Moving with the Times
Starting as a small workshop (family owned business) in Endingen am Kaiserstuhl (180km Southwest of Stuttgart, Germany) in 1985. After 30 years of establishment and development, Fischer has so far evolved to become a worldwide specialist and manufacturer of customized metal parts, precision mechanics and stamped parts.
In 2008, Fischer ASIA - a part of Fischer Group – set up its production base in My Phuoc III Industrial Park, Binh Duong, Vietnam specializing in manufacturing customized stamping moulds and toolings, mechanical processing of metal parts and the assembly of electronic components. In addition, Fischer ASIA has also developed an extensive network and provides surface treatments in cooperation with their partners such as ED coating, powder coatings, zinc plating, etc…
The geographical advantages of Vietnam, combined with the experience and know-how of the headquarters, enables Fischer ASIA to supply parts which fulfill customers’ demands with the highest precision at a very competitive price level.
Mr. Alexander Götz – Managing Director of Fischer ASIA said that the biggest market is Germany with over 90% of sales volume; following is Thailand (5%) and Vietnam (5%). One of the biggest advantages of Fischer ASIA is that it has transferred the know-how, quality understanding and techniques from it’s headquarters to fulfill the requirements of customers in South East Asia. Another factor is that Fischer ASIA has found reliable local suppliers of raw materials; more than 90% of raw materials currently come from the local market: this is one of the biggest competitive advantages of Fischer ASIA.
According to Mr. Alexander Götz, the success of Fischer ASIA until now is thanks to not only high quality products, but also the skilled and professional team of workers in Vietnam. With a high quality workforce and advanced solutions, Fischer has won the trust of many big customers around the world such as Audi, Bonfiglioli, Ziehl-Abegg, Astra Direkt, etc. The sales volume continues to increase by 20%-30% year on year.
In 2015, with a target of putting more focus on South East Asia, Fischer ASIA has decided for the first time to participate in METALEX Vietnam 2015 in order to introduce its products and flexible solutions for the manufacturing industry in Vietnam in particular and in South East Asia in general. At the same time, Fischer ASIA expects to expand its production base in Vietnam to better serve the strict demands of customers.
