HCMC Strives for 9.8 Pct Growth in 2015
At a review meeting on economic, social and cultural situations in the first 11 months and December 2015, Mr Le Hoang Quan, Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, said the largest city of Vietnam has finished 18 out of 19 targets, featured by stable economic growth and optimistic outlook. This was an important foundation for the city to complete its socioeconomic indicators set for 2015.
Given industrial production, trade and service results, the city expects a 9.8 percent GDP growth in 2015.
