Website for National Tourism Year 2016 Launched
The Kien Giang Provincial Department of Information and Communication recently opened an official website http://namdulichquocgia2016.vn to introduce outstanding activities and significant events scheduled for the 2016 National Tourism Year.
The website will help popularise the 2016 National Tourism Year with tangible and intangible cultural values and special tourism products in Kien Giang province, the Mekong Delta region and other localities nationwide.
It will promote tourism in the country in general and in the Mekong Delta region and Kien Giang province in particular, of which Phu Quoc Island is expected to become a national and global tourism centre, making contributions to the local socio-economy.
Under the theme “Explore the Southern Land,” Kien Giang province will consist of a large-scale cultural, economic and social event.
