Business Delegation to Study Nordic Market

In the framework of Project FLC14-04 - supporting programme to enhance agricultural and seafood exports to Finland and Northern Europe, financed by the Finnish Government, and the Project “Supporting Vietnamese companies to promote internal resources and diversify input markets for production, export and import to enhance national competitiveness, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) will coordinate with the Embassy of Finland and trade and investment promotion agencies of Finland, Sweden and Denmark to lead a business delegation to seek export expansion to the Nordic market from June 8 - 16, 2016.

 

In a bid to enhance its support for the Vietnamese business community to diversify markets and actively seek opportunities of investment and business cooperation at the back of newly signed free trade agreements with other regions, including the European Union (EU), organisers will help businesses to promote direct exports of Vietnam to Northern European distribution systems; meet promotion agencies and potential and prestigious businesses/importers/distributors in three Northern European nations to seek partners; and introduce Vietnamese goods. The delegation will also update the latest information about business and investment environment in three countries; recommend programmes and support for Vietnamese companies to seek partners via the Finnpartnership Programme of the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs; and visit the three markets to study business practices.
