PHARMEDIC Affirms Trademark Strength

The pharmaceutical and medicinal public company (PHARMEDIC), set up on June 30, 1981, has become a famous enterprise in Vietnam and foreign countries for its cheap high-quality products. Now, the company occupies 2.5 per cent of the Vietnamese market with a growth rate of 12 per cent per year.

Talking about the company’s key to success, Tran Van Nhieu, chief executive of PHARMEDIC, said that the company had always followed a motto of producing high quality medicines, which were sold at reasonable prices. Also, the company has invested in modernising its technology and equipment and helping its cadres and workers improve their skills with updated knowledge, as well as developing new products as good as imported products of the same kind. As a result, the company’s products have become a favourite choice of customers in Vietnam and foreign countries, such as the US and Canada. In Vietnam, the company's products were voted as Vietnamese high quality goods in 2003 and 2004.

In preparation for Vietnam’s accession to the World Trade Organisation (WTO), the company built a modern factory with a total investment capital of VND 65 billion in District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

Over the past 20 years, PHARMEDIC has recorded excellent achievements, making a significant contribution to the national construction cause. In recognition of its contribution, the State presented it the Labour Order, third class, in 1995 and the Labour Order, second class, in 2003.
