Taiwan Product Fair 2005 to Open
The Taiwanese Bureau of Foreign Trade abd Taipei Economic & Cultural Office in Ho Chi Minh City will organise the Taiwan Product Fair 2005 on February 25-28, 2005 in Ho Chi Minh City with the participation of 77 enterprises.
Notably, products displayed at the fair are made by Taiwanese enterprises in Vietnam, including industrial products of instant food, motorcycles, bicycles, computers, 3C product, machinery, furniture, parts and accessories, and others.
This will be a chance for Taiwanese enterprises operating Vietnam to effectively seek business opportunities with partners of Vietnam as well as other countries. In addition, the fair will help local labourers get jobs because around 30 Taiwanese enterprises plan to enroll 450 labourers at the fair. The demand for labourers of Taiwanese firms in Vietnam now is high, topping at about 50,000 labourers annually.
Taiwan now has 1,262 foreign direct investment companies in Vietnam and 80 per cent of which locate in Dong Nai and Binh Duong provinces and Ho Chi Minh City, and invests around US$4 billion in 100 projects in the country every year.
