U.S. Business Delegation Seeks Cooperation Opportunities in Vinh Phuc Province

After the investment promotion tour to some U.S. cities and states in early September 2019, led by provincial leaders, at the invitation of Chairman of Vinh Phuc Provincial People’s Committee, an investment promotion delegation from Sacramento City, California, the U.S., led by Mr. Allen Warren, Deputy Mayor, paid a working visit to Vinh Phuc province.

At the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Tri introduced local socioeconomic development and investment environment, and recommended investment fields to U.S. investors, including industry, urbanization, service, high-tech agriculture, education and training, and health. At the same time, through this visit, Sacramento City and Vinh Phuc province will have more opportunities to better understand each other and develop multifaceted relations in many areas, especially in economic development.

Appreciating the province's warm welcome for the delegation, Mr. Allen Warren said that this was his fifth visit to Vietnam but the first time to Vinh Phuc province. Upon arrival to the province, he was very impressed by the people and the land because he saw have many similarities with the City of Sacramento where he lives.

During this trip, the delegation paid special attention to real estate projects, high-class resorts, smart cities, social security projects, environmental protection and renewable energy projects and waste disposal projects. Therefore, he believed that, with available potential advantages plus investment policies, good facilities and infrastructure, the two sides will have fine cooperation, thus creating opportunities for U.S. businesses in general and Sacramento businesses in particular to seek effective investment opportunities in Vinh Phuc.
