184 Administrative Procedures Linked to National Single Window

As many as 13 ministries and agencies brought 184 administrative procedures to the National Single Window (NSW) as of October 15, 2019 (10 procedures more than in July 2019), with a total of 2.56 million administrative records filed by 33,200 enterprises handled at NSW, said the General Department of Vietnam Customs - the standing agency of the National Steering Commission on ASEAN Single Window (ASW), National Single Window (NSW) and Trade Facilitation (Commission 1899),

Particularly from January 1, 2019 to October 15, 2019, nearly 770,000 administrative records filed by more than 6,800 enterprises were handled at NSW.

With respect to the ASEAN Single Window, Vietnam continued to exchange certificates of origin Form D (eC/O Form D) with six countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Brunei and Cambodia.

As of October 15, 2019, a total of 178,319 certificates of origin were sent by Vietnam to ASEAN countries and the country received 105,523 certificates of origin from ASEAN countries.

In addition, the General Department of Customs continued to work with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to prepare technical conditions for exchanging information on ASEAN customs declaration forms (with Indonesia and Thailand) and phytosanitary certification (with Indonesia).

At present, stakeholders are working together to prepare the test message and connectivity testing. Besides, the General Department of Customs and relevant ministries and agencies are conducting negotiations to complete protocols and agreements on technical requirements and build the information exchange system on customs declaration and certification of origin with the Eurasian Economic Union and negotiating on electronic C/O information exchange with South Korea.
