Work on Saigontel-Hung Vuong University Technology Institute Kicked off 

Saigon Telecommunication Technology Joint Stock Co. (Saigontel) and Hung Vuong University on April 15, 2005 kicked off work on two nine-floor buildings of Saigontel Technology Institute in Quang Trung Software Park on an area of 8,500 sq.m.

The buildings, including total office area of 25,000 sq.m, were invested with VND210 billion (US$13.46 million), of which, VND50 billion will be spent on information technology equipment. The institute is planned to become operational in the second quarter of 2006.

The institute is designed and equipped with modern, specific facilities to serve training activities, software development, IT application and research, media and trade. It will regularly train 2,000 students and attract around 50 IT enterprises. About more than 2,000 staff will work for the institute.
