Construction of Ea Krong Hnang Hydro-electric Power Plant to Start

The construction of the Ea Krong Hnang hydro-electric power plant will start in Phu Yen province this June. The plant, located in the Hinh River in Phu Yen and Ea Kar and M’Drak districts in Dak Lak, has a total investment capital of VND 1,238 billion with two generator units, each of which has a capacity of 32 MVA.

The plant can supply 254.3 million kilowatts hours per years. Apart from generating electricity, the Ea Krong Hnang power plant helps regulate water for basin areas and supplement water to the Ba Ha hydro-electric power plant.
