9^th Southern Fruit Festival to be Held in Saigon

The 9^th Southern Fruit Festival in 2005 is to be held in Suoi Tien Tourism Area, Ho Chi Minh City, from June 1 to 11, 2005. This is an annual traditional festival to introduce and promote the fruit potential of Vietnam. Many activities will be held during this year’s festivity such as a fruit fair, fruit parade, fruit gastronomic culture, folk games, traditional art performance and a symposium. This is seen as an opportunity for Suoi Tien to lure travellers not only from the city but other localities.
