Vietnam Science-Technology Creation Prize 2005

According to the organisation board for the Vietnam Science-Technology Creation Prize, in 2005 prizes will be granted to science and technology projects which have high socio-economic values. They have been carried out in Vietnam in five fields including IT-Telecoms; engineering-automatic; biology for manufacturing and daily life; new materials and technologies for protecting the environment and using appropriately natural resources.

The organisation board will award 50 prizes including five first prizes, 10 second prizes, 15 third prizes and 20 awards for encouragement. Prize receivers will be granted with diplomat of merit and gratuity. The board will choose the most excellent project and one by a female creator to propose to the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO) to grant them gold medals.

The deadline for submitting projects is October 31, 2005.
