HDBank Named Best Company to Work for in Asia for Fourth Straight Time

HDBank was presented the Best Companies to Work for in Asia Award on October 10, becoming the only Vietnamese bank to garner this trophy for the fourth time in a row.

This year's survey attracted about 30,000 employees from 581 businesses in Vietnam, portrayed a comprehensive picture of their employees' needs, desires and engagement levels. Then, it made flexible and appropriate policies for a given time.

According to HR Asia, HDBank has excellently engaged more than 7,000 employees in the workplace, applied outstanding personnel and remuneration policies, regularly organized interesting internal activities to increase employee engagement.

HR Asia highly appreciated business flexibility amid obstacles and uncertainties caused by the pandemic, especially when social distancing continued to disrupt business operations in the world and in Vietnam.

According to the survey, HDBank employees fully met such requirements as motivation towards self-improvement, willingness to do more than responsibility in support of other departments, and co-work support when needed. This showed close linkage and trust between employees and the leadership, its development and growth value, and a work culture based on good teamwork.

In addition, in order to adapt to the complicated development of the Covid-19 epidemic, HDBank quickly established the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) Committee joined by key leaders, applied digital transformation technology, ensured ongoing operations, business and employee connectivity.

Furthermore, during the time of social distancing, many internal sharing and connecting activities between employees and the leadership were held online regularly, joined by all the staff, including the “CEO Speakout” program, “HDBank in my heart” writing contest, “Dignity of HDBank” photo contest, and classical guitar solo performance. The lender also applied special policies for infected employees and their families, helping them recover quickly and work safely.

2021 was also the fourth year the award "Companies to Work for in Asia” was announced in Vietnam HR Asia, the largest HR magazine in Asia, which updates industry information and refers to smart management systems.
