On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2022 - Year of the Tiger, Sao Mai Group revealed exciting information to investors. ASM successfully controlled another wholly foreign-owned enterprise (Junchow Tea Processing Company Limited of Taiwan located in Gia Nghia City) with a land bank of 60 ha in Dak Nong. Earlier, in 2020, the group took over Vinh An Production & Trading Co., Ltd based in Cu Jut district.

In two consecutive years, ASM acquired two companies in the Central Highlands to locate their business operations and pave the way for the landing in the upland. The silent takeover of more businesses in Dak Nong shows the effective M&A strategy led by the tight-lipped owner of Sao Mai Group.

ASM is very successful in real estate, solar power, outdoor recreation and discovery, highly appreciated and admired by experts for its potential, reputation and market knowledge. Therefore, it is not too hard to negotiate the purchase of difficult companies because both sides realize each other's desires for sustainable development.

Successful boss

Unbeatable with a series of M&A deals, An Giang Tourism Joint Stock Company, Dong Thap Tourism Joint Stock Company, Nhut Hong Joint Stock Company (Ca Mau), Euro Plast Company (Long An), two companies in Dak Nong and recently an export seafood processor (kept secret) were acquired by ASM.

Sao Mai Group’s acquisitions are aimed to revive them by complete restructuring plans, creating jobs for employees, boosting socio-economic development and bringing a wholly domestic firm to the global playing field.

Acquired companies were revitalized with prominent business places such as Tra Su Melaleuca Forest Tourism Area, Tuc Dup Hill Tourist Area, An Hao Ecotourism Area, Dong Xuyen - Long Xuyen - Cuu Long Hotel Complex, Sao Mai Long An Solar Park, Sao Mai Song Tra Hotel, Bong Hong Hotel, Sa Dec Hotel and Nhut Hong Urban Area.

Similarly, in the near future, Sao Mai Group will make a big deal in Dak Nong province when it gradually carries out renewable energy production plans, combines discovery tourism and picnicking with new urban area development in Gia Nghia, Ea.Tling.

Acquiring new companies (Junhow and Vinh An) clearly shows the approach of Sao Mai Group.

Overcoming Covid pandemic

The pandemic wrecked many domestic and foreign businesses but ASM was lucky to overcome it with the above-mentioned unexpected results.

More surprisingly, Sao Mai Group has reaped great successes in aquaculture and aquatic processing for export - the industry that is a hot pick on the stock market. Currently, the group is deeply engaged in global value chains when it has the chance to pick up new partners.

Increased delivery

During 4-5 months of social distancing as a result of Covid-19, the economy was compressed, supply chains were disrupted, seafood processors stumbled due to market lockdowns but IDI Company - a key member of Sao Mai Group - still constantly grasped orders massively redirected from its competitors.

Adopting the factory-based production approach and adhering to strict epidemic prevention measures, Sao Mai Group’s subsidiary managed to keep steady production and ensure pangasius purchases from farmers.

As the epidemic has been controlled, IDI Company has accelerated contractual deliveries in 2022. IDI knows how to overcome the pandemic to expand market share with extremely flexible pricing policies and the best possible product quality.

Sao Mai Group has locked new goals, with the two M&A deals in Dak Nong province opening the door for ASM to steadily move forward.
