Herbalife Vietnam joined forces with the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) to organize the Ceremony to announce its “Herbalife Vietnam is the Official Sponsor of the Vietnam National Football Teams” through which the company will provide the national football players with its high-quality and science-based nutrition products to help them improve their strength and endurance during training as well as competitions.
This sponsorship is part of Herbalife Vietnam's official partnership with the VFF to support football in Vietnam from 2021 to 2024.
In response to the Government's policy of socializing high-performance sports activities, especially football, along with the company's long-term strategy of supporting Vietnam sports, Herbalife Vietnam is proud to support the aspirations of Vietnamese football players to outperform and garner better results to enrich the country's football history. This sponsorship also aligns with the company's long-term mission of inspiring the community to live healthier lives by encouraging people to play sports and exercise regularly.
From now to 2024, the Vietnam national football teams will compete in many major regional and international tournaments including the Asian Cup 2023, SEA Games 32, ASIAD 19, and the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup finals, which will be historically significant as the first time Vietnam has participated.
Mr. Vu Van Thang, General Manager of Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, said: "As the Official Sponsor of the Vietnam national football teams, we have been very delighted and proud to witness the excellent achievements of the country's football in recent times. Noticeably, the national women’s football team has secured a place in the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup finals for the first time and both the Men’s under 23 Team and Vietnam Women’s National Team successfully defended the championship at SEA Games 31."
“We hope our nutrition products sponsorship in partnership with VFF will help support the long-term objectives for our national football teams to reach new heights at regional and international competitions," Mr. Thang added.

Highlighting the importance of science-based nutrition in sustaining endurance, strengthening physical strength as well as the determination to improve the performance of players, the cooperation agreement between VFF and Herbalife Vietnam has once again re-affirmed the long-term, comprehensive common goal of the development of Vietnamese football, while promoting an active and healthy lifestyle to the community at the same time.
