High quality bus route from Tien Giang Bus Station to An Huu Bus Station and vice versa (Route Code: 01)
In response to escalating market demands, passenger transport companies are persistently enhancing their fleets in terms of both quantity and quality. The fundamental prerequisites for their developmental trajectory include consistent business performance improvement, market share maintenance, customer service reputation enhancement, and effective management and operation of licensed passenger routes and bus routes.
On July 31, 2019, the company initiated the operation of its first high-quality bus route (a pioneering endeavor in Tien Giang province) from Tien Giang Bus Station to An Huu Bus Station (Cai Be district). This 77-km route, designated as Code 01, traverses several critical traffic points such as My Tho City, National Highway 60, National Highway 1, and Tien Giang University. On December 30, 2022, the company launched its second high-quality bus route, Code 10, from Tien Giang Bus Station to Can Duoc Bus Station (Long An province).
To uphold high-quality vehicle standards, the company has invested nearly VND40 billion in the acquisition of over 20 new vehicles, equipped with air conditioners, surveillance cameras, and front and rear cameras. The stoppage time at each station is strictly limited to no more than 3 minutes, ensuring efficient transit. In the absence of waiting passengers, the vehicle continues its journey without delay.
In conjunction with economical bus routes, the introduction of high-quality bus services has enabled Tien Giang Auto Transport Joint Stock Company to broaden its public transport network. This expansion not only caters to the diverse travel needs of the public but also promotes the use of public transportation. The resulting reduction in the reliance on personal vehicles contributes to a decrease in traffic congestion and accidents.
Driver Training and Testing Center (in Hamlet 7, Tam Hiep commune, Chau Thanh district) trains drivers of B1, B2 and C classes
Beyond its transportation services, the company consistently upholds its reputation in driver training. Recognizing the growing demand for driver training, the company expanded its services beyond the training of A1 and A2 class two-wheeled vehicle riders. On July 7, 2022, it inaugurated the Driver Training and Testing Center in Hamlet 7, Tam Hiep commune, Chau Thanh district. The center offers comprehensive training programs for B1 and B2 class drivers (13 weeks of training) and Class C drivers (29 weeks).
The center boasts a 9,600-square meter driver practice field, which represents an investment of approximately VND10 billion. The field is equipped with all the necessary items and equipment, and it provides a variety of scenarios and lessons in line with the current training program. The field surface is well-drained, and the center has procured 24 brand-new Toyota Vios and Isuzu cars, as well as JAC trucks, for driver training.
This investment has alleviated overcrowding and substandard training, equipping trainees with the essential knowledge and skills for safe vehicle operation. In addition to driver training, Tien Giang Auto Transport Joint Stock Company also conducts driver testing. The driving practice ground is outfitted with equipment that meets driver testing standards and is expected to commence operations immediately upon receiving the necessary licensing in early 2024.
