FEC Group: Pioneering Sustainable Environmental Conservation

In 2023, FEC Group Joint Stock Company grappled not only with the general difficulties experienced by other companies but also with unique challenges stemming from alterations in environmental protection and management policies. Mr. Nguyen Van Hao, General Director of FEC Group, acknowledged that while these changes presented many opportunities, they also posed a lot of hurdles for environmental companies. However, thanks to its dynamic approach, unwavering dedication, and technical expertise, FEC rapidly surmounted these obstacles, ensuring stable operations and business expansion.

Could you elaborate on how FEC managed to navigate the challenges in 2023? What were its notable accomplishments during that year, and what are its objectives and strategies for 2024?

In 2023, FEC optimized business processes and cost management to enhance performance and profitability. In addition to providing diversified services, expanding markets, minimizing risks and creating a stable revenue source, FEC also promoted investment in technological innovation, human resource development and quality management to sharpen competitiveness against its peers. The company reinforced cooperation with strategic partners and formed alliances with other businesses to take advantage of market opportunities and maximize all resources. Thanks to its persistent effort, the company accomplished relatively stable business operations, creating momentum for its new progress in 2024.

Entering 2024, FEC set some goals and plans like expanding the market by establishing more branches to increase the business network to seven branches and nearly 20 representative offices nationwide. By developing the network to expand the customer base, FEC aims to boost its revenue by 150% as compared to that in 2023.

FEC confidently set this goal because it continued to affirm its strengths by successfully registering testing “earthing resistance measurement and lightning protection” which was certified by the Directorate for Standards, Metrology and Quality (Ministry of Science and Technology) in Certificate 841/TDC-HCHQ dated March 15, 2024. In addition, FEC continued to develop business fields like conducting inspection, calibration and land and expanding testing activities into food, agriculture and fertilizer to optimize resources and create a diverse service ecosystem for customers. Furthermore, FEC also expanded and built an additional laboratory in the central region and planned development in Ho Chi Minh City to bring services of the FEC ecosystem to all customers nationwide. Moreover, FEC is scaling up business operations, optimizing business value, and launching the initial public offering (IPO).
