Vietnam now has 10 oil importers, which are responsible for importing refined oil products to sell in the country.
In 2005, these 10 companies imported 11.3 million tons of petroleum products worth nearly US$5 billion, inclusive of Petrolimex. They plan to import 13 million tons this year.
